California High School Basketball - Maywood Academy edged by Math & Science College Preparatory

The Maywood Academy Nighthawks basketball team (Maywood, CA), was nudged 54-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA)

The Sharks now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Larchmont Charter for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Math & Science College Preparatory will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 49-47 league loss to University Pathways Public Service Academy (Los Angeles, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-3.

The Nighthawks (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Garfield edged Wilson (Los Angeles, CA), 74-38, in a non-league battle.
