Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Reseda Regents (Reseda, CA), 61-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Vipers host Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Sun Valley Magnet lost 96-31 in their recent non-league bout against Vaughn (San Fernando, CA)

Next up, the Regents play the Fulton Jaguars (Van Nuys, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Reseda will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 90-7 non-league loss to Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA).
