The Annawan Braves basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes to 52 in the Braves league triumph on Wednesday.

The Braves now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brimfield for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Annawan will battle a Indians team coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Indians record now stands at 6-2.

The Tornadoes (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] (Woodhull, IL). The Spartans enter the Lincoln Trail contest with a 1-5 record.
