The Newport Greyhounds basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Bismarck Lions to 33 in the Greyhounds non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melbourne for a 3A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Jackrabbits enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Lonoke triumphed over Beebe (Beebe, AR), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
