Greenbrier Panthers (Greenbrier, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clarksville Panthers (Clarksville, AR), 60-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greenbrier upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Panthers host Sheridan (Sheridan, AR) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the Fountain Lake Cobras (Hot Springs National Park, AR) in a 4A Region 4 bout, on Saturday, December 3. Clarksville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 59-53 non-league loss to Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR).
