The Edison Academy Pioneers basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Henry Ford Academy Navigators to 7 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muskegon Heights for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Edison Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 38-21 non-league loss to White Cloud (White Cloud, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

The Navigators (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chandler Park Academy (Harper Woods, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Chandler Park Academy triumphed over Detroit Community (Detroit, MI), 45-25, in a non-league contest.
