Tampa Prep Terrapins (Tampa, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lake Wales Highlanders (Lake Wales, FL), 63-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tampa Prep upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Terrapins travel to Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Wesley Chapel lost 50-24 in their recent league bout against River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Lake Wales will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 54-9 non-league win over Fort Meade (Fort Meade, FL).
