Indiana High School Basketball - Union City ripped by Monroe Central

The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Union City Indians to 15 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Golden Bears now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winchester Community for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Monroe Central will battle a Golden Falcons team coming off a 78-40 non-league win over Delta (Muncie, IN). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 5-1.

The Indians (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN). The Panthers enter the Tri-Eastern contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Knightstown was routed by North Decatur (Greensburg, IN), 70-22, in a non-league contest.
