California High School Basketball - Newark Memorial can't hold off Foothill

The Foothill Falcons basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Newark Memorial Cougars to 31 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Ramon Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Foothill will battle a Wolves team coming off a 27-25 non-league win over Freedom (Oakley, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Mariners enter the contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Moreau Catholic nudged Granada (Livermore, CA), 43-16, in a non-league contest.
