In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hoover Cardinals basketball squad scored a big 45-18 victory over the Southwest SD Raiders.
With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Raiders confront the El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Southwest SD will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 30-14 non-league win over Mission Bay (San Diego, CA).
