Cherry Creek Bruins (Greenwood Village, CO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO), 79-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cherry Creek upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Chaparral (Parker, CO) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Chaparral won 55-36 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO)

Next up, the Hawks play the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets (Denver, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
