The Cypress Bay Lightning basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting West Broward Bobcats to 35 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Lightning face the Everglades Gators (Miramar, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 2. Cypress Bay will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Gators enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 54-38 non-league win over Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL).

With the defeat, West Broward moves to 0-2 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Northeast (Oakland Park, FL) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Monday, December 5. The Hurricanes enter the game with a record of 1-1.
