Everglades Gators (Miramar, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes (Pompano Beach, FL), 54-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Everglades upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Gators travel to Cypress Bay (Weston, FL) to clash with the Lightning in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Lightning go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Cypress Bay won 50-35 in their recent non-league bout against West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL)

Next up, the Golden Tornadoes clash with the South Plantation Paladins (Plantation, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Pompano Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
