In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Johnson Warriors soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Union Mine Diamondbacks.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Liberty Ranch was nipped by Valley (Sacramento, CA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Diamondbacks battle the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Union Mine will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA).
