The Aldine Mustangs basketball team (Houston, TX), was overwhelmed 81-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX)

The Hurricanes now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manvel for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 30. Fort Bend Hightower will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 53-44 non-league loss to Pearland (Pearland, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-7.

The Mustangs (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Goose Creek Memorial trounced Pro-Vision Academy (Houston, TX), 76-59, in a non-league battle.
