Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Anzar Hawks (San Juan Bautista, CA), 65-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Pajaro Valley upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to play the Miners in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 7. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Hawks play the Ceiba College Preparatory Academy Spartans (Watsonville, CA) in a PCAL - Santa Lucia bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Anzar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
