The Oelwein Huskies basketball team (Oelwein, IA), was overwhelmed 83-57 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA)
The Falcons now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster City for a non-league battle on Friday, December 1.
The Huskies (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks come into the North Iowa Cedar - East battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Jesup trounced Denver (Denver, IA), 63-60, in a league battle.
