In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Needles Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 89-18 triumph over the Bagdad Sultans.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Fredonia Lynx (Fredonia, AZ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 30. Needles will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Lynx enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 69-47 non-league win over Shonto Prep (Shonto, AZ).

With the defeat, Bagdad moves to 1-3 on the year. The Sultans travel to Ash Fork (Ash Fork, AZ) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 2. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 4-4. Ash Fork lost 36-30 in their recent non-league match against Ray (Kearny, AZ)
