The Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX), 48-32 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bison (3-1) will now prepare for their test against New Waverly (New Waverly, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, New Waverly went down by Robinson (Robinson, TX), 63-49, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Crockett for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Groveton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-42 non-league loss to Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
