Pangburn Tigers (Pangburn, AR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Concord Pirates (Concord, AR), 61-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pangburn upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Bald Knob won 55-51 in their recent non-league game against White County Central (Judsonia, AR)

With the defeat, Concord moves to 13-2 on the year. The Pirates travel to Shirley (Shirley, AR) to face the Blue Devils in a 1A Region 2 game on Friday, December 1. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 3-2.
