Colorado High School Basketball - Custer County knocked off by La Junta

November 30, 2023: La Junta, CO 81050

The La Junta Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Custer County Bobcats to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rye for a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks contest on Tuesday, December 5. La Junta will play a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 60-9 non-league win over Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 3-0.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Moffat Cowboys (Moffat, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Custer County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
