The Jesuit Blue Jays basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Destrehan Wildcats to 47 in the Blue Jays non-league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Jays now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lafourche for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Jesuit will battle a Tarpons team coming off a 55-35 league win over South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA). The Tarpons record now stands at 1-4.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Tara triumphed over Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 69-53, in a non-league contest.
