Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Shiloh Christian Saints (Springdale, AR), 67-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Elkins upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Elks host Mansfield (Mansfield, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Saints play the Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Shiloh Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
