With the victory, Gardner-Edgerton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS) to play the Jaguars in a Sunflower challenge on Friday, December 8. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Sabres play the Washington Wildcats (Kansas City, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Sumner Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
