The Gothenburg Swedes basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 19 in the Swedes non-league victory on Thursday.

The Swedes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hershey for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Gothenburg will battle a Panthers team coming off a 34-31 league win over Perkins County (Grant, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Minutemen (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ogallala (Ogallala, NE). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
