Texas High School Basketball - Merkel knocked off by Graham

The Graham Steers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Merkel Badgers to 58 in the Steers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Steers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Graham will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-1.
The Badgers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Holliday (Holliday, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Holliday ran past Graham (Graham, TX), 51-30, in a non-league contest.
