Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), 58-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Grant Community upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to North Chicago (North Chicago, IL) to clash with the Warhawks in a Northern Lake County bout on Saturday, December 2. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 0-5. North Chicago lost 71-62 in their recent non-league bout against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL)

Next up, the Skyhawks clash with the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Johnsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 57-46 non-league win over Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL).
