Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 64-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Greenwood upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Rangers travel to Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Westerners play the Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Lubbock will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
