In Thursday's non-league outing, the Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) basketball squad nipped the host Socorro Bulldogs (El Paso, TX), by a margin of 83-82.
The Rangers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lubbock (Lubbock, TX). The Westerners go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Lubbock got by Snyder (Snyder, TX), 43-32, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Seminole for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Socorro will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Indians record now stands at 3-4.
