In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Morgan Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 50-23 triumph over the Whitney Wildcats.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Kopperl Eagles (Kopperl, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 1. Morgan will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 3-2 record after their 58-19 non-league win over Evant (Evant, TX).
