The Sanford Warriors tipped the host Mount Pleasant Green Knights basketball team by a final score of 40-35 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 14. Sanford will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Mount Pleasant moves to 0-1 on the year. The Green knights host Tower Hill (Wilmington, DE) to face the Hillers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 5.
