Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA), 71-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Osage upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Green Devils host Central Springs (Manly, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Central Springs lost 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA)

Next up, the Chickasaws meet the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. New Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 50-47 non-league win over Charles City (Charles City, IA).
