The Varsity Opponent (, ) basketball knocked off the visiting Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), 51-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (69-288) will now prepare for their test against Gill Grove Baptist (Chesterfield, VA). The go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Gill Grove Baptist notched a victory over Commonwealth Christian Academy (Richmond, VA), 71-36, in a league test.
The Texans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Eastlake for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Northwest will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 71-52 non-league loss to Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 4-6.
