Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), 36-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Benjamin Russell upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.
