Ohio High School Basketball - Minford thwarted by Athens

The Minford Falcons basketball team (Minford, OH), dropped 54-35 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Athens Bulldogs (The Plains, OH)

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marietta for a non-league battle on Monday, December 4. Athens will confront a Tigers team coming off a 57-47 non-league win over GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.

The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Gallia (Crown City, OH). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, South Gallia beat River Valley (Bidwell, OH), 45-29, in a non-league battle.
