In Thursday's non-league outing, the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) basketball squad felled the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), by a margin of 54-45.
The Redwings (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Maine South thwarted New Trier (Winnetka, IL), 53-28, in a league outing.
The Lions now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 2. Lyons will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 59-31 league win over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Bears record now stands at 2-4.
