The Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX), 44-31 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Elks (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Ryan (Denton, TX). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Ryan notched a victory over Aledo (Aledo, TX), 54-32, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to University for a non-league test on Thursday, November 30. Martin will meet a Trojans team coming off a 41-32 non-league loss to Leander (Leander, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 1-6.
