Central/Southeastern Panthers (Camp Point, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL), 42-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central/Southeastern upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Illini West (Carthage, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Illini West won 53-29 in their recent non-league bout against Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL)

Next up, the Bombers clash with the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Monday, December 4. Macomb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 37-6 non-league loss to Illini Central/Greenview (Mason City, IL).
