Texas High School Basketball - Edinburg crushes Veterans Memorial

Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX), 71-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edinburg upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Reagan (San Antonio, TX) to play the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Reagan won 51-26 in their recent non-league bout against Medina Valley (Castroville, TX)

Next up, the Patriots play the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Veterans Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 51-26 non-league loss to Reagan (San Antonio, TX).
