The Menard Yellowjackets basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Florence Buffaloes to 15 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Water Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Menard will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 37-28 non-league win over Florence (Florence, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.

The Buffaloes (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rochelle (Rochelle, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Rochelle was routed by Brady (Brady, TX), 75-29, in a non-league contest.
