Goldendale Timberwolves (Goldendale, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA), 25-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Goldendale upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Tri-Cities Prep (Pasco, WA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Liberty Christian Patriots (Richland, WA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Walla Walla Valley Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
