Georgia High School Basketball - Groves knocked off by McIntosh County Academy

The McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Groves Rebels to 42 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. McIntosh County Academy will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 35-32 non-league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-2.
The Rebels (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Long County (Ludowici, GA). The Blue Tide enter the AAA Region 3 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Long County was outscored by Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 32-23, in a non-league contest.
