The Highland Park Hornets basketball team (Amarillo, TX), was overwhelmed 52-21 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX)
The Irish now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lefors for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 5. Shamrock will confront a Pirates team coming off a 37-29 non-league win over Highland Park (Amarillo, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-5.
The Hornets (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Pringle-Morse was overwhelmed by Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX), 36-34, in a non-league battle.
