The Hondo Owls basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Pleasanton Eagles to 27 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Owls now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ingram Moore for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Hondo will meet a Warriors team coming off a 31-28 non-league loss to Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

The Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Voks enter the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Lanier was outscored by Southside (San Antonio, TX), 57-29, in a non-league contest.
