The Tintic Miners ran past the visiting Merit Preparatory Academy Knights basketball team by a final score of 46-33 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Miners face the Intermountain Christian Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 4. Tintic will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Manila (Manila, UT).
