North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN), 80-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Community upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Polars travel to Southwest Christian (Chaska, MN) to play the Stars in a AA Section 5 bout on Friday, December 1. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Rockets play the West Lutheran Warriors (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Rockford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
