The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Mallard Creek won 17-11 in their recent non-league challenge against East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Patriots play the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 23-12 non-league win over Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
