The Arvada West Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Legacy Lightning to 54 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pomona for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Arvada West will battle a Panthers team coming off a 51-45 non-league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
The Lightning (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Highlands Ranch prevailed over Fairview (Boulder, CO), 70-51, in a non-league contest.
