The Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC), 60-39 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Swain County was trounced by Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC), 69-39, in a non-league test.
