Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Thales Academy Apex Titans (Apex, NC), 50-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Coastal Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Titans play the Burlington Christian Academy Royals (Burlington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Thales Academy Apex will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Royals come into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 96-94 non-league win over Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC).
